What is GrizzLog?

GrizzLog is a flexible personal logging system for everyday life. It helps you capture events, keep changing information organized, group repeated actions, and build a useful history you can search and review later.

What is the difference between a Tracker, List, and Routine?

Trackers record things that happen over time, like workouts, meals, maintenance, expenses, or symptoms.

Lists keep changing sets of information current, like shopping lists, packing lists, project tasks, or collections.

Routines group related actions together so things you do repeatedly are faster to complete.

How do I edit something I logged incorrectly?

Yes. If you log something incorrectly, you can edit the entry later. You can also use Search to find an older entry that needs to be corrected.

Can I search old entries?

Yes. Search lets you review activity across GrizzLog, filter your history, inspect Lists, browse what you’ve created, and find older entries when you need them.

Can I export or back up my data?

Yes. GrizzLog includes backup and export tools so you can preserve your history and take your data with you when needed.

Why add GrizzLog to my iPhone Home Screen?

Adding GrizzLog to your Home Screen gives it a more app-like experience and keeps it one tap away. The Home Screen version and Safari can behave like separate local app instances, so your data may not automatically appear in both. Pick one as your everyday GrizzLog and use it consistently.

Where is my GrizzLog data stored?

Today, your GrizzLog configuration and history are stored locally in your browser on the device you use. GrizzLog does not currently host your personal log history on a remote server. Backup and export tools are available if you want to preserve or move your data.

What happens if I delete something?

GrizzLog generally uses soft deletion rather than immediately erasing history. Deleted entries are removed from normal search and day-to-day views, while the underlying record is retained. Deleting a Tracker, List, or Routine also preserves the historical connection to entries that were logged with it.

How does the Store work?

The Store is free and lets people share reusable GrizzLog setups such as Trackers, Lists, Routines, and their structure. Installing something from the Store creates a local copy in your GrizzLog. Your personal logged history is not published to the Store.

Is GrizzLog an iPhone app?

Not yet. The current beta runs as a web app. A native iPhone app is planned for the App Store and is expected to make navigation and Apple integrations such as Siri and Shortcuts feel more seamless.

How does GrizzLog work with AI?

GrizzLog keeps your personal history structured and exportable, so you can bring it into AI tools for things like workout reviews, maintenance summaries, progress tracking, comparisons, and finding patterns. Direct hosted-data access is planned but is not available today.

Who owns my data?

Your GrizzLog data is yours to use and export. You choose when to share exported data with other tools or services.

Is GrizzLog still in beta?

Yes. GrizzLog is still in early beta, and feedback helps shape the product.
